New Chair of Health Law Practice Named
CHICAGO (March 22, 2006) — The international law firm of McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that partner Michael Anthony has reassumed the role of Chair of the Firm’s Health Law Department. Mr. Anthony succeeds Monte Dube, who has guided and contributed significantly to the success of the Health Department for the past five years.

Michael Anthony, who served as Chair of the Health Department from 1991 to 2001, prior to Mr. Dube, is the former senior vice president of the American Hospital Association, and has served as counsel in connection with a number of projects including provider affiliations, integrated delivery system development, formation of HMOs and PPOs, health care mergers, acquisitions and affiliations, joint ventures, joint operating arrangements, reimbursement systems, medical group representation and other legal and policy issues.
With an over 50-year history of serving the health care industry, McDermott has one of the United States' largest and most prestigious health law departments.
