The World IP survey researched leading IP law firms in 19 major jurisdictions. In addition to the Firm's high ranking on a national level, the survey also specifically recognizes the strength of the Firm's West Coast copyright practice in its regional rankings.

The results of the survey are based on an international team of researchers conducting interviews with hundreds of practitioners and in-house counsel worldwide to reveal which firms are rated by their peers for the strength of their experience and the depth of their ability to service clients. The rankings reflect the state of the market when the research was conducted, between September 2008 and January 2009.
