Former First Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Pearlstein Joins Boston Office
BOSTON — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Pearlstein as a partner in the Firm’s Trial Department. Mr. Pearlstein's practice will focus on economic, regulatory and business criminal matters, including business crimes in the e-commerce environment, as well as securities and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining McDermott Will & Emery, Mr. Pearlstein was with the Massachusetts U.S. Attorney's Office for 11 years, where he most recently served as the First Assistant United States Attorney and previously as the Chief of the Economic Crimes Unit. Mr. Pearlstein was an associate in the litigation department of a major Boston-based law firm for six years before joining the U.S. Attorney's Office. He frequently lectures throughout the country on white-collar criminal issues. Mr. Pearlstein received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1983 and his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1979.
