New York Office Welcomes Private Client Attorney

NEW YORK (August 14, 2007) — The New York office of McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce the arrival of Jay E. Rivlin as a partner in its Private Client Department.  Mr. Rivlin, formerly of Sullivan & Cromwell, has extensive experience in complex estate planning matters, trust and estate administration, dispute resolution in connection with wealthy families, the administration of major private foundations, small business formation and administration, the acquisition and sale of private aircraft, and tax and FAA issues relating to the ownership of aircraft.  His arrival follows on the heels of Henry Christensen who joined the Firm, after almost 37 years at Sullivan & Cromwell, to head the New York private client practice at the beginning of the month.

Mr. Rivlin earned his J.D. with Distinction from Hofstra University’s School of Law and his B.S. from Cornell University.  He is admitted to practice in New York.
