Appointment of Top-Rated New York Corporate Lawyer to London
LONDON — McDermott Will & Emery has recruited New York securities and corporate finance specialist, Rick Mitchell. Formerly of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, he joins the Firm’s London office as a partner.
Mr. Mitchell’s particular specialism is in the area of high yield bonds and, in recent months, he has advised on a number of highly publicised offerings and trading transactions in both the U.S. and European high yield bond markets. This has included acting as lead manager on the review and preparation of high yield form documentation for banks.
Mr. Mitchell has SEC, Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange expertise as well as impressive and extensive experience in securities and corporate finance generally. He has advised on many successful M&A transactions, including several negotiated and unsolicited cross-border bids involving U.S. and European companies, in addition to public and private offerings of equity and debt securities.
