McDermott Advises Principal Hotels on the Acquisitions of the George Hotel for £21.5 Million
LONDON (24 August 2005) — The law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP has advised Principal Hotels on the acquisition of The George Hotel, Edinburgh, by Troy Management Services (George) Limited for £21.5 million.
Troy Management Services is a joint venture between the Royal Bank of Scotland and Principal Hotels. The grade II listed, 4-star hotel which will be managed by Principal Hotels was sold by InterContinental Hotels Group Plc.
Principal Hotels is an expanding group of six premium hotels.
