McDermott Advises Physicians Decisions Limited on $2.35 Million Investment
LONDON — McDermott Will & Emery acted for Physicians Decisions Limited, in connection with a £2.35 million investment by an investment fund, Think Ventures.com (Holdings) Limited, to develop PDxMD, an online medical database.
PDxMD provides a comprehensive, proprietary, online database of medical information for primary care physicians and other medically qualified groups. PDxMD contains essential, up-to-date, decision-orientated, point-of-care information on diseases, symptoms and common treatments, together with a range of additional services including patient specific information and comprehensive drug data.
Unlike other currently available online medical databases, PDxMD is being created specifically for the Web by doctors and experienced medical writers, and has been approved and endorsed by an eminent Editorial Advisory Board.
