Dennis White Named Chairman of the Association For Corporate Growth's Board of Directors
BOSTON (February 25, 2009) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Dennis White, partner in the Firm's Corporate Department based in Boston, has been named as the Association for Corporate Growth's (ACG) Board Chairman for 2009-2010, effective July 1, 2009. Mr. White currently serves as ACG's Vice Chairman. Mr. White succeeds the 2008-2009 Chairman Harris Smith, Managing Partner of Private Equity, Grant Thornton LLP. ACG is the premier professional organization focused on corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. White's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings of securities, senior debt financings, restructurings and sales of distressed companies and corporate governance counseling. He has more than 20 years experience in representing emerging and mature companies, family businesses, private equity and venture capital firms and senior lenders in the United States and internationally. He regularly counsels foreign companies on establishing operations and acquiring businesses in the U.S.
Mr. White is also a member of the American and Boston Bar Associations, as well as the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee of the American Bar Association. He is a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of corporate and transactional topics and has appeared on CNBC on M&A issues.
