McDermott Will & Emery Health Law Associate Appointed to American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s Health Law Committee
CHICAGO, IL (April 23, 2009) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that associate James Kim has been appointed chair of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s Health Law Committee for the 2009-2010 term. James previously held the position of vice chair and will assume his new position on August 1, 2009.
The Health Law Committee provides services to young lawyers interested in or practicing in the health care industry. These services include providing electronic communications regarding committee activities and developments in health law. The committee also promotes dialogue and research regarding cutting edge health law issues.
James, based in the Chicago office, is a member of the firm’s Health Law Department, one of the largest and most prestigious health law practices in the world. The firm’s health law team counsels prominent corporations in every major sector of the health and life sciences industry on regulatory and business transaction issues.
