McDermott’s Litigation Practice Named to American Lawyer’s 2010 Honor Roll
CHICAGO (January 20, 2010) — McDermott Will & Emery LLP is pleased to announce that the Firm has once again been named to American Lawyer’s Honor Roll in the publication’s biannual Litigation Department of the Year issue. The Firm was recognized in the January 2010 edition for its high-profile litigation matters during 2008 and 2009.

McDermott was singled out for its successful defense of Nevada’s governor in a federal corruption investigation, as well as the Firm’s defense of two former lobbyists for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and an InterMune vice president. American Lawyer’s Litigation Department of the Year honors are the result of an extensive process that begins with submissions from hundreds of firms, which are narrowed down to a short list of finalists, followed by interviews with the candidate firms and their client references.
