Intellectual Property Department Among Top Providers For the Fortune 100

The results of the survey are based on public record searches conducted through Thomson Reuters' Litigation and IP Monitor databases. Litigation rankings are based on data from 2007. Patent prosecution rankings are based on patent applications and granted patents issued from January 2006 to December 2007 as the granting process takes, on average, more than one year to complete. The top 10 firms with two or more litigation mentions and one or more patent prosecution mentions were recognized by Corporate Counsel.
