McDermott Will & Emery Appoints Top Intellectual Property Lawyer as London Head of Intellectual Property
LONDON (4 September 2008) — International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has announced that Gary Moss will join the London office as a partner and London Head of Intellectual Property. He joins the Firm from the London office of Taylor Wessing.
Mr. Moss focuses his practice in both contentious and non-contentious issues with particular emphasis on patent litigation, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, information technology and technology transfers. He has extensive experience in cross border patent litigation in Europe and the US. As London managing partner at Taylor Joynson Garrett, Mr. Moss also has deep management experience. He helped engineer the merger which created the 500 lawyer international firm of Taylor Wessing and built its successful European IP practice.
McDermott's IP practice is routinely ranked by the main legal directories among the top intellectual property practices globally and is ranked as one of the most active IP litigation firms. Mr. Moss's appointment will further enhance this reputation and drive the expansion of the IP group in the UK and Europe.
