LONDON — McDermott Will & Emery are acting for Arbuthnot Securities Limited, the underwriter to a proposed rights issue recently announced by UMECO plc which is intended to part-fund its proposed acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Advanced Composites Group Holdings Limited. The consideration of £44.25 million for the acquisition is to be partly satisfied by the proceeds of the 1 for 3 rights issue at 270p pence per share, raising £21 million, with the balance to be financed through new debt facilities.
