New Partner Tim Alvino Joins New York Office
NEW YORK - McDermott Will & Emery announced today that Timothy J. Alvino has joined the Firm as a corporate partner in its New York office. Mr. Alvino joins the Firm from Dewey Ballantine LLP, where he had been a partner since 1989.
Mr. Alvino focuses his practice on project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets transactions. He represents a diverse group of clients based in North America, Europe and Asia.
"We are delighted that Tim has decided to join us," commented Peter John Sacripanti, Partner-in-Charge of the Firm's New York office. "He is a terrific lawyer with broad-based transactional experience. He is another outstanding addition to our office and to our global corporate practice."
Grant Bagan, Head of the Firm's Corporate Department, added "Tim joins an aggressively growing corporate practice. In 2002, we were joined four lateral M&A partners in New York and London, and high-end corporate law practices in our new Munich and Düsseldorf offices. This dramatic growth continues in 2003 with Tim's arrival and the previously announced addition of Xavier Ruiz, a key partner in our Latin America practice."
