Michael Pope Named Client Service All-Star
CHICAGO (January 2, 2007) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce its partner Michael A. Pope has earned a client nomination to The BTI Client Service All-Star Team for Law Firms 2008. The BTI Client Service All-Star Team honors a select group of approximately 150 lawyers that deliver superior client service to Fortune 1000 clients. Lawyers may only be named to The BTI Client Service All-Star Team through unprompted client referrals for superior client service.
BTI interviewed individual corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 and large organizations. Mr. Pope is a member of McDermott’s Trial Department based in the Firm’s Chicago office. Mr. Pope has a national practice in product liability and the defense of class actions consumer fraud matters and complex business litigation. He is past president of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association; a former chairman of the board of trustees of the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada; and a past president of the International Association of Defense Counsel. He has been recognized as a Fellow by three peer review professional organizations of trial lawyers: The American College of Trial Lawyers, The International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the International Society of Barristers. Mr. Pope earned his J.D. cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law and his B.S. from Loyola University Chicago.
