Terrence P. McMahon Named to Lead McDermott Worldwide IP Practice
PALO ALTO, CA (March 20, 2007) — Nationally recognized intellectual property trial lawyer Terrence P. "Terry" McMahon has been selected to lead McDermott Will & Emery's 200+ lawyer worldwide Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department. Mr. McMahon joined McDermott’s Silicon Valley office in January 2001, and was named head of the Firm's west coast IP practice in 2002.
Mr. McMahon succeeds Ray Lupo, who has successfully led the Department from 1996 to 2002 and again from 2005 through the beginning of 2007. Mr. Lupo, in addition to his practice, will continue to work with Terry on the Firm's ongoing strategic development of its international IP practice.
