Boston Office Security Procedures
Visitors must present a valid photo ID to security on the first floor. After checking in with security, take the elevator to the 34th floor.
From the North via Zakim-Bunker Hill Bridge
- After entering the tunnel, take the first exit (Government Center/Logan).
- Stay to the right toward Government Center.
- Follow road to the right through lights (you are now on Clinton Street).
- Follow Clinton Street to the lights (Boston Millennium Hotel is directly across from you).
- Take a left at the lights.
- Take a left at the next set of lights onto Congress Street.
- 28 State Street is one block on your right.
- The parking garage entrance to 28 State Street is on the right. (It looks like the service entrance for City Hall.) Once you enter the garage, you will see the loading dock for 28 State Street and a double entrance to the building's garage just after that on the left. Ring the doorbell, and garage security will give you access to the garage. You may validate your parking ticket at our reception desk on the 34th floor.
From the South
- Take 93 North into the South Station Tunnel.
- Stay in right lane and take the exit 23 towards Government Center
- At the top of ramp take a left to stop sign. This road runs in front of Boston Millennium Hotel on your right and Quincy Market to your left.
- At the end of the street, take a left at the lights onto Congress Street.
- 28 State Street is one block on your right.
- The parking garage entrance to 28 State Street is on the right. (It looks like the service entrance for City Hall.) From the West
- Take the Mass Pike to Route 93 North (Southeast Expressway).
- Follow signs to Government Center; take the exit for Government Center and go to the end of the ramp.
- Take a left at the traffic light.
- Follow North Street to the end. At the end of the road, (dead end at Congress Street by Boston City Hall), take a left on Congress Street.
- 28 State Street is one block on your right.

From Logan International Airport
- Follow signs for Airport Exit.
- Take the ramp onto Route 1A South.
- Take the Route 93 North/Government Center exit.
- Follow Route 93 North and take the ramp towards Government Center, taking a slight left towards Government Center.
- At the stop light at top of ramp take a left. This road runs in front of Boston Millennium Hotel and next to Quincy Market.
- At the end of the street, take a left at the lights on Congress Street.
- 28 State Street is one block on your right.

Additional parking
Take a right onto State Street. Go straight ahead through a set of lights (State Street becomes Court Street) and bear left at fork at end of Court Street (at next traffic light). You are now on Tremont Street. Take your first left at traffic light, which is School Street. Proceed on School Street and at traffic light take a left onto Washington Street. Continue on until you see a Dunkin’ Donuts on your left. The entrance to the parking garage is immediately after Dunkin’ Donuts (One Washington Street Parking). After parking your car, take a left out of the parking garage and walk down Washington Street to the lights. Cross State Street at the lights and 28 State Street will be in front of you. Entrance to 28 State Street is only permitted on Congress Street in front of the building.
MBTA (by subway)
Via green or blue line
- Take the T to Government Center.
- Continue straight out of the T station across City Hall Plaza. City Hall will be on your left, and Dunkin’ Donuts will be on your right.
- Continue across the plaza, and go down three flights of stairs.
- At the bottom of the stairs, turn right.
- Pass the City Hall service entrance on your right, and 28 State Street is the next building on your right.
