Update on Changes Announced in UK Pre-Budget Report 2008

The Pre-Budget Report (PBR) was delivered by the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 24 November 2008. The principal headline for international groups was the confirmation of the reforms to the taxation of foreign profits. However there are several other noteworthy announcements, including further revised draft legislation on disguised interest and transfers of income streams, and measures aimed at relieving some of the tax burden for businesses (for the short-term, at least).
