Representative FDA Experience in the Alcohol Area

  • Advise a major U.S. brewer on the food safety status of ingredients, processing aids and food contact substances used in the production and packaging of the company’s beer products.
  • Counsel the leading producer of wines containing less than 7 percent alcohol by volume on labeling.  The labeling of such wines is regulated by the FDA, not the Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau.
  • Assist a large winery in adjusting its record-keeping systems to meet the requirements of the Bioterrorism Preparedness Act of 2002.
