Wireless Communications & Spectrum Activities
Our Group efficiently handles all regulatory matters involving wireless communications and spectrum, including locating available spectrum and obtaining license (through various means, including the FCC's application process, spectrum auctions and third party assignments). Our lawyers are highly experienced in licensing matters such as spectrum auctions, license assignments and transfers, rule waivers and defending against frequency encroachment. Our non-attorney licensing specialists perform a variety of tasks, such as completing applications for spectrum and obtaining frequency coordination, in a cost-effective fashion.
Our Group is also experienced in meeting the general telecommunications law needs of entities that utilize spectrum. That may include representation in connection with FCC requirements applicable to particular services or representation in rulemaking proceedings (both described in detail in other pages on this site). We also assist in such matters as purchasing spectrum licenses or obtaining roaming agreements.
