Our London Financial Services Funds Group is a multidisciplinary team providing those in financial services including corporate financiers, investment managers, investment banks, brokers and underwriters with specialist legal, regulatory and tax advice. The financial services industry is heavily regulated in the UK and we can advise on achieving compliance and the availability of any exemptions. We advise on structuring a wide range of investment fund types including offshore hedge funds, funds of funds, private equity funds, UCITS and UK authorised funds; and negotiate a wide variety of trading documentation on behalf of clients. Our Group advises on the marketing of funds, securities and investments, banking and insurance services and on all other financial services sector products and their regulation.
On issues of US law and regulation we liaise closely with our colleagues in the Hedge Funds Practice. Our strong transatlantic and European presence gives our clients access to specialist advice across the markets in which they operate.
