Representation Before the FCC
Our Group has extensive experience representing clients before the Federal Communications Commission. Based in our Washington, D.C. office, a team of attorneys and licensing specialists handles matters involving U.S. federal telecommunications statutes and FCC regulations and policies on a daily basis. We are in regular contact with the FCC and often meet with commissioners and their staffs, as well as personnel within the various bureaus and offices, in regard to matters affecting our clients.
As explained in detail in other section on this site, our Group handles a wide variety of matters before the FCC. The depth of our experience, combined with our Firm's general resources, enables us to take on virtually any project involving telecommunications law. Our background is especially extensive in connection with the needs of critical infrastructure entities, CLECs, wireless carriers, satellite operators and broadband providers.
Representative examples of work performed by the Group include drafting comments and meeting with FCC officials in rulemaking proceedings, obtaining licenses for spectrum, seeking rule waivers, responding to official inquiries and participating in industry coalition groups. In all matters, representation is provided in a practical and cost-effective manner.
