Representative (Non-Distribution) Trial Experience in the Alcohol Area 

  • Represent an international distilled spirits producer in monitoring and participating in joint-defense responses to industry-wide class actions arising from allegations that industry advertising causes illegal underage drinking.
  • Successfully represent a distilled spirits manufacturer in arbitration against a brand owner seeking to terminate the manufacturer’s co-packing agreement, securing a large award for the client.
  • Advise and counsel clients on the product liability and regulatory aspects of defective and damaged products, including product recalls involving the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration and the Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau. 
  • Represent the owner of a distilled spirits importer in cross-border litigation over control of the company following the death of the company’s co-owner.
