Telecommunications touches every facet of modern life, and despite recent efforts to deregulate the telecom industry, it remains one of the most comprehensively regulated industries, at all levels. Moreover, history has shown that most telecom regulations evolve with changes in technology and the economy, and do not simply disappear.

Through our daily review of the FCC's proposals for regulatory change, our Group keeps its clients apprised of any changes that would impact their operations, and can recommend strategies to either meet the new requirements or take action to influence the regulations before they are adopted. Moreover, because of our extensive knowledge of telecom law and policy, clients frequently turn to us for help in understanding how certain regulations might affect their operations, or in developing programs to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance. We assist our clients by identifying regulatory boundaries to their intended operations, by suggesting alternative solutions to achieve compliance, and by advocating for expansion of regulatory boundaries if necessary. Regulatory counseling is intended to facilitate, not debilitate, the client's operations.
