McDermott Will & Emery's commitment to diversity begins with the recruitment process. The Firm-wide Recruiting Committee co-chairs and all of the Firm's local hiring partners and their respective committees are charged with recruiting a diverse group of students from law schools worldwide. Our Recruiting Committee members work together with members of the Firm's Gender Diversity, Racial and Ethnic Diversity and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Committees
to ensure our recruitment efforts at both the law school and lateral level are reflective of the Firm's commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce. On-campus recruiters and law school alumni are encouraged to build relationships with law school affinity group leaders and placement office heads and directors to impress upon them the Firm’s desire to recruit a diverse summer associate class.
