Companies seeking to raise capital in today's environment face unprecedented challenges. Although this is especially true for companies in financial distress, even companies with healthy balance sheets find their options limited. If the wrong avenue is pursued in raising capital, valuable time can be wasted, leading to diminished chances of success.
In this complimentary webcast, representatives from leading investment banks and members of McDermott's Corporate Department will provide their collective experience on strategies that have the best chance of success in today's markets, which sectors are easier to raise capital in than others, and current expectations for the balance of 2009 and beyond. Topics of discussion will include the following:
- The current market for raising capital through the issuance of equity or equity-linked securities in traditional and structured PIPEs, registered direct offerings, backstopped rights offerings and at-the-market offerings
