“Credit and equity markets alike continue to show a strong resurgence from the uncertain times of 2020 and the return to the performance of highly efficient businesses and intelligent opportunistic investment helps to punctuate that resurgence. As confidence continues to grow, we can expect even more growth for those businesses which were able to survive the pandemic.
Equally, it is clear that some businesses simply will not survive the aftermath of 2020 and we have not yet seen the transition of those businesses into a restructuring or other insolvency process. Market participants must remain vigilant amid the expected increase in these processes over the coming months and years.”
