Overview
Jonathan Levine counsels clients in a wide range of corporate matters, with a focus on complex corporate restructurings both in-court and out-of-court. His clients include troubled companies, ad hoc creditor and equity groups, official creditor committees, private equity funds, asset managers, and other parties of interest.
Among other industries, Jonathan has advised clients in matters involving airline, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, technology, telecommunications, maritime shipping, trucking and other transportation sectors.
In addition to his work in matters involving distressed assets, Jonathan provides general corporate counsel. He represents issuers and underwriters in public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, as well as early stage, venture capital and other financings. As transactional counsel, he advises businesses and owners on public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate partnering arrangements, and the negotiation and documentation of contracts, financial agreements with bankers and lenders, and other matters.
