Claire Barra focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. She advises French and international companies as well as managers or funds on all aspects of corporate and financial law.
Prior to joining McDermott, Claire practiced business law as a trainee at various corporate law firms.

- Represented HLD group and Didier Tabary, shareholders of Filorga and SVR, in their acquisition of Le Couvent de Minimes
- Represented Weathernews Inc. in the acquisition of Metnext
- Represented the management team of software leader InfoVista on the company’s acquisition by a French investment fund
- Represented Hild’s management team on the acquisition of the group by the private equity funds Chequers Capital
