McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Erica Moscarello has joined its Transactions Practice Group in New York to support strategic growth in the Firm’s investment funds capabilities and its ability to assist clients in fund formation, structuring and operation as well as regulatory and compliance issues.
Erica handles matters relating to domestic and offshore private investment funds, funds of funds and other private investment funds, including hedge, private equity, debt and real estate funds. She has deep experience advising clients on formation and structuring, federal and state registration, regulatory compliance, reporting obligations, operational issues and management company governance. Erica also counsels sophisticated investors in connection with their investments into private funds.
Erica will work closely with Ian Schwartz, head of McDermott’s Investment Funds Practice. The addition of Erica continues to strengthen and expand the Firm’s market-leading fund formation offerings across its global platform.

Erica comes from Proskauer Rose LLP where she was a member of the Investment Funds Group. She has been recognized by Legal 500 in Investment Fund Formation & Management: Alternative/Hedge Funds.
She received her BA from the University of Michigan and her JD from Fordham University School of Law.
