McDermott’s Washington pro bono efforts were recognized with those of 33 District law firms at the 14th annual “40 at 50” Judicial Pro Bono Recognition Breakfast sponsored by the chief judges of the District of Columbia federal courts and the Association of Corporate Counsel. At least 40 percent of attorneys at each firm devoted 50 hours or more to pro bono service.
