NEW YORK (June 14, 2016) – McDermott Will & Emery Private Client partner Carlyn McCaffrey has been named Best in Wealth Management at this year’s Euromoney Americas Women in Business Law Awards. The acknowledgment is a clear reflection of Ms. McCaffrey’s strong reputation in the private client space and the exceptional quality of her work.
The prestigious awards celebrate the achievements of law firms setting the standard in terms of female-friendly work practices, and women leading the field in the legal sector across the Americas. Ms. McCaffrey provides legal counsel on domestic and international tax and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals. She also advises individuals and institutions on charitable planning matters and co-heads the Private Client practice in the Firm’s New York office.
A frequent lecturer on subjects relating to tax law, trusts and estates, foreign trusts and matrimonial law, Ms. McCaffrey is also an extensively published author on these topics.
