Overview
Thomas Sauermilch led the McDermott team advising Germany’s Evonik Industries AG on acquiring the performance materials division of Air Products and Chemicals Inc. (APD) for $3.8 billion. The deal gives Evonik, which has operations in some 100 countries, additional market exposure in North America and Asia.
