DOJ Sued Over FBI Purge of Gay Federal Workers

Paul Thompson, Lisa Linsky and Joshua Rogaczewski are among the McDermott pro bono counsel to the Mattachine Society of Washington, DC, in that organization’s lawsuit against the federal government seeking records regarding a 1953 order to “purge” gay and lesbian federal employees. Mr. Thompson called the suit “an issue of public importance – how your government treats people who work for it [and] historically targeted people based on their LGBT status.”
