Stephen Kranz told a National Multistate Tax Symposium in Orlando, Florida that both proposed or enacted legislation and/or regulations in Alabama, Colorado, and South Dakota are part of the “war” states are waging to expand corporate tax nexus. “As states pass legislation, they are developing a litigation strategy,” Mr. Kranz added.
