Amandeep Sidhu and Emre Ilter are among the lawyers representing a Sikh US Army captain who has sued the Pentagon over requirements that he undergo helmet and face mask testing to determine whether he can continue serving with a beard, turban and unshorn hair as required by his religion. The federal lawsuit stated that the soldier is being singled out for his religious beliefs and asked for an injunction making permanent an Army accommodation to allow his grooming preferences.
