When a Vendor Files for Bankruptcy

Timothy Walsh advised ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) that if their vendors file for bankruptcy, it defines an “inability to pay your debts as they become due. That is the only requirement you need to be able to file.” Mr. Walsh urged ASCs to monitor the finances of key suppliers and put them on a special “credit watch” should problems appear. “If the vendor is rated,” he added, “watch its ratings.” Read the full article.
