M. Todd Welty, Laura Gavioli and Mark Thomas have become partners in McDermott’s Dallas office and tax controversy practice, all joining from another major global law firm. Mr. Welty will serve as McDermott’s new tax controversy co-chair, having headed the US tax controversy group at his former firm.
