CHICAGO (June 1, 2015)—McDermott Will & Emery was recognized this week as a top U.S. law firm for minority attorneys, according to Law360. The Firm ranked 12th on the news service’s inaugural list of “100 Best Law Firm’s for Minority Attorneys,” one of only five top-50 law firms to rank in the top 20.
Nineteen percent of McDermott’s 865 U.S.-based lawyers identify as a non-white, compared to the national average of 14 percent. Under the direction of the Firm’s management committee, McDermott offers a formal diversity and inclusion program to ensure equal access to all client development activities, challenging work assignments and viable advancement options for all lawyers.
