Veleka Peeples-Dyer, who is highly experienced in US Food and Drug Administration regulatory matters, has joined McDermott’s health industry advisory group in Washington, D.C., from biotech firm Acorda Therapeutics, where she was head of the corporate compliance department and executive director for legal affairs. Also, litigator Will Stute joined the Washington office from another large law firm. They are among more than a dozen lateral partners McDermott has added since April 1.
