New York Guidance Addresses Exemption For General Aviation Aircraft Sales, Rentals

Lauren Ferrante said that a new New York State tax exemption for general aviation aircraft sold or delivered on or after September 1, 2015 “appears very taxpayer friendly and promising for the New York business community. The extent that this exemption is more favorable than aircraft taxing and exemption provisions in other states may bolster the New York market for sales and leases of noncommercial aircraft.”
