Sarah Chapin Columbia agreed with an American Bar Association survey that found male lawyers are far more likely than females to be the lead attorney in civil cases, noting that in her cases “very often there are big teams on both sides, lots of attorneys, and it’s not unusual for me to be the only woman who has a speaking part.”
