McDermott Will & Emery’s Andrea S. Kramer is the recipient of this year’s “Inspiration Award” from the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law. The award will be presented as part of the Coalition’s Sixth Annual Leadership Forum to honor women and organizational leaders in the Chicago area legal community.
Ms. Kramer is receiving the “Inspiration Award” in recognition of her continued support of women’s initiatives, mentoring, and coaching. As the founding chair of McDermott’s Gender Diversity Committee, Ms. Kramer plays an integral role in developing policies and initiatives to ensure the value of a diverse firm. This includes formalizing the Firm’s commitment to acceptance of gender differences, as it relates to the hiring, promotion and retention of the most talented lawyers, regardless of gender.
Ms. Kramer will be honored with the “Inspiration Award” at the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law 6th Annual Leadership Forum awards ceremony, which will take place at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago on November 19, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.
