McDermott was mentioned among the firms that represented Lockheed Martin Corp. in its $9 billion purchase of Sikorsky Aircraft, maker of Black Hawk helicopters, from Hartford, Connecticut-headquartered United Technologies Corp. The acquisition is expected to close by the first quarter of 2016.
