Andrea Kramer, who as a co-chair of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois helped develop the WBAI’s Leadership Institute, said that the program is “not your garden-variety, everybody-can-be-a-leader, go-team-go type of training,” but rather will give participants practical skills to navigate day-to-day life in their legal careers and help them strengthen their professional networks. Ms. Kramer added that the small, interactive program sessions will give WBAI leaders a sense of the participants and their career objectives, helping to shape the sessions.
