DÜSSELDORF (November 2, 2015) – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery was recognized as “Law Firm of the Year” for Real Estate at last week’s JUVE awards ceremony held in Frankfurt. JUVE is a leading German legal publication and directory. The annual awards, held for the 12th time, celebrated the achievements of law firms and in-house legal departments in Germany.
The award statement highlighted that “there is hardly any important player in the market who is not part of McDermott’s client portfolio”. The firm was noted for its extraordinary inter-practice cooperation, particularly in complex deals.
According to JUVE, practice head Dr. Jens Ortmanns is known by peers and clients as an “excellent lawyer” and “the leading real estate partner of his age” in Germany. He and his team offer “more than big deals with big names – the practice covers the whole range from asset management to project development and underwent a stunning development in recent years”.
