Sarah Chapin Columbia was among 50 top US litigation professionals recognized as Litigation Trailblazers for innovating litigation practice in a significant way. Ms. Columbia said that as an IP litigator “I get to learn new science every day of the week. We take complicated science or engineering and present to a judge and jury who don’t have a big technical background.” Her work includes a complete defense verdict for Blackberry involving cell phone patents, and the forthcoming Amgen v. Sanofi trial, which Ms. Columbia describes as being “about fighting for people’s access to drugs.”
