Intellectual property litigator, Sarah Chapin Columbia, has been selected as a 2015 “Litigation Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal. This year’s second annual “Litigation Trailblazers” supplement profiles 50 attorneys who have achieved remarkable success while advocating on behalf of their clients.

Ms. Columbia, head of McDermott Will & Emery’s global Intellectual Property Litigation Group, was recognized for her ability to explain and communicate highly-technical IP subject matters to juries and judges. In her profile, Ms. Columbia was touted for achieving a complete defense victory on behalf of client, BlackBerry, as well as her involvement in Amgen v. Sanofi, which is due for trial in March 2016.

Ms. Columbia’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters. She also counsels clients on overall intellectual property strategy and positioning, including litigation avoidance.
