December 8, 2014—American Lawyer has named McDermott Will & Emery to its 2014 “Women Partner Watch” Honor Roll, which recognizes AmLaw 200 firms who have promoted a significant number of women to partner in the last three years.
McDermott earned a spot on American Lawyer’s highest honor roll, which recognizes the 20 firms where at least 30 percent of new partners in all of their three most recent classes were women. McDermott is the third largest firm by revenue and only one of three AmLaw 50 law firms to attain that standing.
Women have comprised 48 percent of McDermott’s promoted partners since 2012, and 52 percent of its most recent class. That compares to an average of 32.7 percent across all AmLaw 200 firms.
