Overview
McDermott announced that it has launched a new lobbying and consultancy firm focusing on helping the health care industry deal with the Affordable Care Act and other legislative challenges, the law firm’s first industry-specific lobbying arm. The new subsidiary, known as McDermott+Consulting, or McDermottPlus, will be headed by principals Eric Zimmerman and Paul Radensky and include an experienced team of consultants: experienced lobbyist Andrea Bergman, former senior Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services official John Warren, former health care industry leader and consultant Deborah Godes, and analysts Christine Song and Ashley Spivey.
